I'm glad the weather is getting warmer. I much prefer studying outside rather than indoors. |

Christmas. I'm not to judge whether it's happy for everyone or not, but hopefully it is nice. |

Marlene is generally the happier one out of the two of us, and since she is currently upset, I felt it was solely up to me to be happy enough for the both of us.
• Watched the snow fall. The snowflakes seemed to make the shape of a polar bear as it was falling and I thought it was my calling, but as it turns out, I had just been staring at the snow for too long. + 10 happy.
• Contemplated what a polar bear could have possibly meant, had it been my calling. Perhaps that I'm to move to the North Pole and research how to communicate with them without being mauled. + 6 happy. (Would have been + 8 happy, had I not realized how dangerous polar bears are.)
• Tried to play football with a group of third years. Had to stop because they were complaining that I was kicking their shins rather than the ball. They were, apparently, six year old girls. I was deceived by the lack of bows and pigtails. + 4 happy.
• Tried to play exploding snap with the same group of third years. Had to stop because they were complaining that I wasn't very good at all. They had poor sportsmanship. + 5 happy.
• Did not attempt to go flying with them when they left to play quidditch. It would not have increased the happy measure at all. + 12 happy.
• I enjoy lists. +7 happy.
Overall happy: 44 I have no idea how that scores in comparison to Marlene's happy measure, but I think I had a fun day. It is, however, incredibly tiring, and I would very much like to not have to do it again. |
